Oil firms slash pump prices by over P1
FOR the fourth consecutive week, oil firms announced over the weekend a reduction in prices of petroleum products by more than a peso.
Pilipinas Shell will slash the price of diesel by 90 centavos per liter, gasoline by P1 per liter, and kerosene by 65 centavos per liter effective on Tuesday at 6 a.m.
In separate advisories, Eastern Petroleum, Petro Gazz, and Seaoil said they would cut prices of diesel and gasoline by P1 per liter and P1.10 per liter, respectively, effective on Monday at 6 a.m.
Seaoil will also decrease the price of kerosene by 65 centavos per liter, also on Monday at 6 a.m.
Phoenix Petroleum started the ball rolling when it reduced the price of diesel by P1 per liter and gasoline by P1.10 per liter which took effect today, Sunday, at 6 a.m.
