4 hurts as bus hits parked truck in La Union

BAGUIO CITY— Four persons were hurt when a Victory Liner bus collided with a parked dump truck as it was driving down Marcos Highway from this city at 4:45 a.m. on Thursday (Oct. 25).

The mishap took place along Pugo town in La Union province, according to Rafael “Paeng” Valencia, president of emergency response group, Rescue 911.

Rescuers brought the injured passengers Basilia Cachim, 60-year-old of Sta. Barbara town in Pangasinan province, and Jackilyn Magayanes, 33-year-old Baguio resident to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.

The other injured passengers identified as Rodrigo Urdonia and Jimmy Padilan Dusaleng of Baguio City — were brought to the Pugo Hospital. /muf
