THE intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will continue to affect the province of Palawan and parts of Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday.
According to a 4 a. m. bulletin, Palawan, Davao, Zamboanga Peninsula, the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), and Soccsksargen will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Aurora, and the rest of Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers because of localized thunderstorms, the weather bureau said.
Strong gale force winds due to northeasterly winds are affecting Batanes, Babuyan, northern coast of Cagayan, and Ilocos Norte.
