Magnitude 4.6 quake hits Davao Oriental

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake hit Davao Oriental at 8:03 Sunday morning.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake, which was tectonic in origin, was recorded 46 kilometers (km) east of Governor Generoso and had a depth of 135 km.

There was no major damage and no aftershocks are expected, Phivolcs said. GLEEFER JALEA
