Lorenzana on Trillanes: No warrant, no arrest
Sen. Antonio Trillanes 4th will remain free if the court will not issue a warrant for his arrest, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said on Wednesday.
“No warrant, no arrest,” Lorenzana told reporters in a text message.
The embattled senator failed to secure a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court on Tuesday. The high court however ordered Palace officials and the Department of Justice to file their answer to Trillanes’ petition questioning the presidential proclamation revoking the amnesty granted him by former President Benigno Aquino 3rd.
