LOOK: LP members mark Plaza Miranda bombing
About 30 members of the Liberal Party (LP) from different parts of the country gathered Tuesday at the Plaza Miranda in Quiapo, Manila, to commemorate the bombing of a party meeting at the historic square 47 years ago.
On August 21, 1971, members of the LP were having a miting de advance ahead of the elections when two grenades exploded.
The bombing killed nine people and wounded 90 others. /cbb
