51 international, domestic flights cancelled over ‘excessive delays’ — MIAA
FIFTY-ONE international and domestic flights remain cancelled on Sunday morning, two days after a Chinese passenger plane skidded off the main runway of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, forcing its closure as crew extricate the plane.
In a Facebook post, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said the incident with Xiamen Air early Friday resulted in “excessive flight delays”, with the state-run agency announcing cancellations of seven international and 44 domestic flights.
