PNR cancels some trips due to heavy rainfall

Some trips of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) were canceled on Saturday because of heavy rainfall.

In an advisory, the PNR said the following trips were called off due to bad weather in Metro Manila:

  • 3:18 p.m. – PNR shuttle train
  • 3:07 p.m. – PNR train going to Alabang
  • 4:30 p.m. – PNR train going to Tutuban

The southwest monsoon continue to affect the large portion of the country despite of the absence of Tropical Storm Karding.

Karding reportedly left the Philippine area of responsibility at around 11 a.m. of Saturday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
