Popcom exec, 2 missing men found dead in Zambales

SAN NARCISO, ZAMBALES – Three men, including a Population Commission official, were found dead in San Felipe town on Thursday morning, police said on Friday.

Norman Montevirgen, the 64-year-old chief of the Popcom Zambales Office, was discovered gagged with his hands bound by packaging tape by resident Bobby Puso who was tending to his cows at Maculcul Bridge in Barangay (village) Manglicmot.

His body was found sprawled alongside Darel Olipane, 18, and Gerald Laborce, 24, whose remains were also bound and gagged.

They were all residents of Iba town and have been reported missing since July 21 by their relatives.

Investigators have yet to determine why the three men were killed.
