MMDA lifts number coding traffic scheme
THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) lifted the number coding traffic scheme today, Tuesday, because of heavy rain induced by tropical storm “Henry.”
In a post on Twitter, MMDA ordered the suspension at 12:48 p.m., except in Pasig, Las Pinas, and Makati.
The MMDA enforced the number coding to ease the traffic situation in the metropolis.
Under the scheme, vehicles are banned on the road depending on the last digit of their license plates.
Below is a schedule:
Monday: 1 and 2
Tuesday: 3 and 4
Wednesday 5 and 6
Thursday 7 and 8
Friday 9 and 0
