HARI welcomes new international recognition

Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), Hyundai’s exclusive distribution partner in the Philippines, has welcomed the release of two recent international survey results that affirm Hyundai’s identity as the Filipino’s lifetime mobility partner.

“First, the 2018 edition of the prestigious Initial Quality Study by JD Power has Hyundai among the Top 3 brands. This represents a big jump from our eighth-place ranking in 2017. The Hyundai Tucson also received recognition from JD Power as the best performing among Hyundai vehicles in the survey. The annual survey measures the number of mechanical problems and issues that new vehicle owners experience during the first 90 days of ownership,” HARI said in a statement.

Hyundai was also named the Most Satisfying Popular Brand in Auto Pacific’s 2018 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. Hyundai ranked first in the survey of 58,000 new vehicle owners covering 40 criteria. Notably, the Elantra took the top spot in the compact car category.

“This recognition of our unrivalled product quality comes on the heels of HARI’s blockbuster first quarter of 2018, when we earned three awards for our world-class service. We received awards for excellence in commercial vehicles, passenger car sales, and customer satisfaction in after sales,” HARI said.

The company said Hyundai’s customers know they are not just driving vehicles of the highest quality – they are also signing up for unparalleled after sales service.

Prior to the latest recognition, HARI has been hailed four times as Hyundai Asia-Pacific Distributor of the Year (2005, 2006, 2008, and 2013), and Hyundai Global Distributor of the Year 2010 and 2016. HARI boasts of its 42-strong dealer network, superior after-sales, dealer and customer relations support, and an enviable roster of best-selling commercial and passenger vehicles.
