5.5 quake rocks Batangas
A magnitude 5.5 earthquake hit southwest of Nasugbu, Batangas on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake that struck at 12:25 p.m. had a depth of 123 km and was tectonic in origin.
Intensity 3 was felt in Quezon City.
No damage was reported but aftershocks were expected, Phivolcs said. GLEE JALEA
