Nutrilite talk magnifies brand’s success

Nutrilite Vice President for Product Development Audra Davies

In today’s world of scientifically advanced study, the catchphrase “health is wealth” should come in with corporate substance to actually get into the household.

Last June 8, wellness pioneer and global giant Nutrilite brought in Vice President for Product Development Audra Davies to talk about the brand’s latest developments in terms of both nutrition and how it is making products people actually enjoy taking daily.

“As the focus of healthcare is drawn more and more towards preventive measures, rather than curative medicine, the role of Nutrilite has never been more important. It recognizes that no matter how beneficial and how meticulously developed a supplement is, people need to consume the product to benefit from it. That is why Nutrilite also does exhaustive development in the areas of tolerance and palatability,” Davies noted during the event.

Davies herself conducted the discussion at The Wholesome Table in Bonifacio High Street in Taguig while a scientific symposium was also held at the New World Hotel in Makati that same day.

Nutrilite is a top-selling brand of Amway, the $8.8 billion direct-selling business based in Ada, Michigan, USA. According to Direct Selling News 2016 Global 100, Amway’s global sales in 2015 made it the No. 1 direct-selling business in the world. The company’s annual sales figure included revenue from direct-selling operations and other business holdings.

“Since the development of the first plant-based health supplement in 1934, Nutrilite has been tirelessly and relentlessly researching and developing better products as our understanding of nutrition improves,” added Rockwell.

The Nutrilite brand is carrying fast-rising low-calorie health drink PhytoPowder which apparently addresses dehydration while providing important water soluble vitamin replenishment at the same time.

Study claims that “no other drink on the market offers the benefits of Nutrilite PhytoPowder” and that it comes in convenient foil stick packs makes it very accessible and consumer-friendly.

Davies has championed Amway’s continued investment into wellness research through a partnership with the famed Stanford University to support a wellness living laboratory project known simply as Well.

As history can point out, Nutrilite brand has pioneered and perfected the plant-based approach to supplementation. It boasts being the only global vitamin and mineral brand to grow, harvest and process plants on its own certified organic farms.

Nutrilite Founder Carl Rehnborg’s extensive research into plant-based nutrients resulted in the first multivitamin/multimineral/phytonutrient supplement marketed in the U.S. in 1934 that led to the creation of the Nutrilite brand, now a top-selling brand of vitamins and dietary supplements worldwide.

To better understand its strength, PhytoPowder is enhanced by phytonutrients which are plant-based compounds with myriad benefits first identified by Rhenborg that crucial year. These are powerful antioxidants found to have color specific benefits. It is noted that the color of the plant from which a particular phytonutrient is extracted determines what benefits it delivers.
