DPWH to conduct road repairs over the weekend
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has advised motorists to avoid certain roads to make way for road reblocking and repairs over the weekend.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will begin reblocking and repairs at 11 p.m. on Friday, June 29 until Monday, July 2, according to an advisory from the MMDA.
All affected routes are said to be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday.
Southbound areas affected include the following:
EDSA after Arayat St. to P. Tuazon St. (Fourth lane from the sidewalk)
EDSA in front of Francesca Tower to after Sct. Borromeo (Third lane from the center island)
The areas Northbound to be affected are:
EDSA before Trinoma Mall Landmark (Second lane from the sidewalk)
Batasan Road, Commonwealth Ave., to Kalinisan St. (Second lane)
A.H. Lacson Ave., near España
Congressional Ave., before Jupiter St. (first lane)
Fairview Ave. from Mindanao Ave Extn. to Jordan Plains Subd. and Jordan Plains Subd. to Mindanao Ave. Extn. – Daphnie Beltran INQUIRER.net Intern
