LPA to bring rains over Mindoro, Palawan
A low pressure area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains over Mindoro and Palawan, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday.
According to the state-run weather bureau, the LPA was located 190 kilometers (km) west of Clark, Pampanga as of 10 a.m.
“The LPA has low chances of turning into a typhoon. It will likely dissipate in the coming days,” weather specialist Meno Mendoza told The Manila Times.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa warned that flashfloods or landslides are possible because of light to moderate to at times heavy rains. GLEE JALEA
