San Juan City suspends classes in public schools on June 25
San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez announced on Sunday that classes from elementary to senior high school in the public schools in the city would be suspended on June 25, Monday.
In an advisory posted on Twitter, Gomez said the suspension was in consideration of the students and professors who worked during the Wattah Wattah Festival activities.
The festival, more commonly known as Basaan Festival, is held as part of the celebration of the feast day of St. John the Baptist every June 24.
