Speeding car kills man

A 21-year-old man died after being hit by a speeding car while crossing a street in Quezon City, police reported yesterday.
Quezon City Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit Sector 3 investigators identified the fatality as Joshua Laganza, 21, a resident of NIA Road, Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City.
Initial investigation showed that Romulo delos Reyes, 21, was driving his Toyota Fortuner with conduction sticker number AOG138 when he hit Laganza on NIA Road Monday midnight.
Delos Reyes rushed the victim to East Avenue Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
Police said a case of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide will be filed against Delos Reyes.
