Wet dreams
By Rica Cruz
Hi Ms. Rica,
I have been married to my wife for three years now. Okay naman kami at regular ang aming sexual intercourse na at least twice a week. Pero I still keep on getting wet dreams mga three to four times a year. Normal lang ba to kasi I feel embarrassed about it. Akala ko nung teenage years ko lang to naeexperience. Kulang ba ako sa sex? Paano ba ito matitigil?
Salamat,
The Boxer
Hello The Boxer,
Salamat sa tanong mo. I am glad to know that three years into your marriage with your wife ay regular pa rin ang inyong intercourse. Keep up the good work!
Nocturnal emissions or wet dreams ay normal lang for both men and women. Paraan kasi ito ng katawan upang mag-release at makapag orgasm. Alam mo ba na according to studies, 83 percent ng kalalakihan at 37 percent ng kababaihan ay nagkaroon na ng wet dream at least once in their life?
Merong evidence that men who ejaculate during the day ay pwedeng magkaroon ng mas konting wet dreams. Pero hindi naman ibig sabihin noon ay hindi ka na maaaring magkaroon ng wet dreams even if you frequently have sex. More sex or masturbating more often may reduce wet dreams pero hindi naman sure na titigil iyon altogether. During teenage years, mas frequent ang mga ganitong pangyayari kasi ‘yung mga hormones mo ay daig pa ang karera ng kabayo kung umikot sa katawan mo. Hindi mo siya kailangan ikabahala or ikagulat if you are still having those dreams.
You also cannot control what you dream of kaya minsan talaga merong mga erotic dreams. Hindi naman ibig sabihin ay kulang ka sa sex or hindi ka masaya sa iyong sexual life. Dreams and fantasies let us explore our sexuality without acting on it kaya chill ka lang diyan. It is okay to discuss this with your wife if it is bothering you. Hindi mo kailangan ma-guilty and she may be more understanding than you expect.
So all I can say is that I urge you to try and enjoy the experience. Normal lang yan and you do not have to think there is something wrong with you, okay? Sweet dreams! #takeitfromthesexymind
With love and lust,
Rica
